On October 14, 2025, at the office of the Honorary Consulate of the Philippines, Sofia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines, H.E. Noel Servigon, held a solemn oath-taking ceremony for the new leaders of the Filipino community. The new president of the community is Beverlyn M. Tapia-Todorov, vice president Faith Denila Hristova. The community leaders brought an abundance of wonderful mood, cakes and smiles. After the oath-taking ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to meet H.E. Noel Servigon and have a conversation about their life in Bulgaria.

 The Filipino community in Bulgaria is extremely active, has events almost every month and plays an important role in the unity and integration of Filipino citizens, helping them to feel at home and make new friends from the moment they arrive.
