Filipino community in Bulgaria On October 14, 2025, at the office of the Honorary Consulate of the Philippines, Sofia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines, H.E. Noel Servigon, held a solemn oath-taking ceremony for the new leaders of the Filipino community. The new president of the community is Beverlyn M. Tapia-Todorov, vice president Faith Denila Hristova. The community leaders brought an abundance of wonderful mood, cakes and smiles. After the oath-taking ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to meet H.E. Noel Servigon and have a conversation about their life in Bulgaria. The Filipino community in Bulgaria is extremely active, has events almost every month and plays an important role in the unity and integration of Filipino citizens, helping them to feel at home and make new friends from the moment they arrive.

His Excellency Noel Servigon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev His Excellency Noel Servigon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Bulgaria (with headquarters in Bucharest), presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev, on October 17, 2025. The official ceremony, held at the Presidency, was attended by senior representatives of the Bulgarian state, diplomatic staff of the Embassy of the Philippines in Romania and our Consulate. The ceremony was also attended by members of the Filipino community in Bulgaria. On October 15, 2025, H.E. Ambassador Noel Servigon presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Pavlov. During the meeting were discussed important topic such as the possibility of activating the political consultations between the two countries, further cooperation in areas such as sports, culture, education and cooperation within international organizations, including mutual support for candidacies.
