Visa 9a For Bulgarian Citizens:

Form:

  • One passport photograph affixed on application form, taken during the last six months, quarter profile showing earlobes;
  • Address in The Philippines, Contacts– Name and Tel. No, Email (at № 13 in the form);
  • Contacts in Country of Residence (Bulgaria) – Name and Tel. No, Email

Requirements for visa 9a:

  • Applicant’s national passport must be valid for at least (6) months beyond authorized period of stay – recommended at least 9 months;
  • Applicant is a holder of a return air ticket;
  • Separate application for each applicant as well as separate fee;
  • Proof of sufficient funds for travel expenses accommodation and subsistence, bank statement (at least $1,000 USD);
  • A letter of invitation from work partner, organization, company, corporation or individual;
  • Must not be an excludable alien and must not be in the DFA Blacklist;
  • Visa Fee (paid on the day of application through bank transfer in below account, not earlier): US $30 - single-entry valid for 59 days;
  • Must register at etravel.gov.ph 72 hours before departure.

Fee should be paid to:

  • BG49 UNCR 7000 1500 1070 98 (in BGN at the exchange rate on the day of the BNB / as per the daily
    currency exchange rate for USD)
  • BIC: UNCRBGSF
  • Holder: Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines

Visa is valid for 59 days, counted from entry in the Philippines and has 3 months validity from date of issuing, with a single entry allowed within the 3 months validity. Visa is non-extendable, if not used in the period of its validity.

No walk-ins, please – visas are issued after applying  first by email and subsequent document approval.

Personal appearance – After having been first approved by email, all documents must be submitted in the Philippine Consulate office in Sofia: 46 Chervena Stena Str., Sofia. Изисквания:

  • Applicant’s national passport must be valid for at least (6) months beyond authorized period of stay – recommended at least 9 months;
  • Long-term residence card as a proof for residing in Bulgaria, for Ukrainian citizens temporary protection document is allowed;
  • Police clearance from Bulgarian court as per address of long-term residence in Bulgaria. If the applicant requires DFA security clearance, the police clearance from the Bulgarian court will need to be apostilled and translated in English.
  • Applicant is a holder of a return/onward air ticket within 59 days of entry in the country;
  • Separate application for each applicant as well as separate fee;
  • Proof of sufficient funds for travel expenses accommodation and subsistence, bank statement (at least $1,000 USD);
  • Letter of invitation from work partner, organization, company, corporation or individual or a hotel reservation for the whole period;
  • Must not be an excludable alien and must not be in the DFA Blacklist - is a DFA security clearance is required, the visa may take 10-15 days longer;
  • Visa Fee (paid on the day of application through bank transfer in below account, not earlier) - check with us what fee you need to pay;
  • Must register at etravel.gov.ph 72 hours before departure.

Approval period: Temporary visitor’s visa issuance for some nationalities may be subject to approval from Embassy of the Philippines in Romania for verifying that the candidate is not excludable alien and they are not in the DFA Blacklist, therefore the period for issuance sometimes may take longer.

Personal appearance: After having been approved by email, submitted in light PDF files, all documents must be submitted in person in the Philippine Consulate office in Sofia: 46, Chervena Stena and the visa is issued on the spot.

Visa 9c:

  • Visa application form FA Form 2-A;
  • One 4x4 passport photograph stuck on the application form, (not loose), taken during the last six months, quarter profile showing earlobes;
  • Applicant’s national passport valid for at least (6) months beyond authorized period of stay; (equal to 9 months for seamen);
  • Valid seaman’s book or passport;
  • LOI - Sponsorship letter from the shipping company or authorized agent with the name of the ship included;
  • Visa fee: 20$ (BGN equal to 20 USD) must be transferred in advance on the day you apply to below account and you must carry the payment/transfer receipt
  • Must register at etravel.gov.ph 72 hours before departure.

After approval of all documents by email, they must be submitted in the Philippine Consulate office in Sofia: 46 Chervena Stena Str., Sofia.

The standard period of seaman visa issuance is 5 days from day of application;
